For those interested not only in my photos but also in the story behind them, I'm writing after each of my trips a travel diary .
It's called the Fukuchan Diaries.

5 weeks in Japan
My spring trip to the Kansai is almost over. Once again I've seen many beautiful landscapes and learned so many new aspects of the Japanese life and culture. I visited a few new places (Shodoshima, Mikawa Bay, Ise, Iga) and collected essential information for my tours as tourist guide.
It was the first journey with my new camera, a Fujifilm X-T1. It has much potential, but to be honest I can't master it yet so well. For those interested in Japanese landscapes, feel free to stroll a little in my gallery ;-).
The next trip to Japan is already planned, I will accompany a group of customers in October to the Japanese Alps at to the island of Ky
The next step
In a few weeks, I'll return to Japan and enjoy the Japanese Spring during 5 weeks.
Before packing my bags I just upgraded my equipement. My new travel companion is a Fujifilm X-T1 system camera.
Coming from a Canon bridge camera with very few manual setting possibilities, it's a huge change.
But it's a good one, on my long way to become a better photographer :-).
Back to Kyushu
Once again, I'll explore the south of Japan, this time with my first customers :-).
After two days at my wife's family, resting and admiring the rice harvest, I'll tomorrow welcome my french guests and then start with them a 2 weeks round trip in Kyushu, the 3rd largest island of the Japanese archipelago.
Stay tuned for more pictures to come!
Step by Step
I had the chance to learn last week-end a few Photoshop tricks from a photograph friend (thanks Torsten!).
I just tried to apply some of them with a picture I already posted.
Here is the result. Feel free to give me your opinion!
